Great customer service and you can see the enthusiasm shown by the boss in communicating with customers. Went to dine in during Sunday mid afternoon and am lucky the shop is not crowded. I like their fried fish and otak-otak.

Nice asam pedas fish. Fresh and not very oily. It is spicy! Onion omelette also good. We ordered the most common customer order. Sotong too chewy for me. Ice lemon best ever i had. Difficult to get parking. For sure need to line up.

Fresh seafood guaranteed. Good red snapper fish asam pedas paired well with fried squid.

Really does live up to its name. Popular for a good reason.Asam pedas tastes mostly just spicy, and not really sour. More soupy than saucy. A little disappointing, but the fish inside is really soft and delicious.Generally all quite good, but the sotong really takes the cake. “Large” portion is considered small for 5pax, but well seasoned and easy to chew.We came at around 1pm, so they didn’t offer coffee anymore. Barley is homemade, but a little diluted.Worth a visit!

I must come back to try asam pedas & otak-otak. It is a must order dish. Everyone opt for that dish. During my visit, I can’t have it because I was alone, came here for work purpose. So I ordered a bowl of meehoon soup with fish meat. Oh my… to my surprise, the fish meat was so so so fresh and tasty! The broth was superb too. The owners were attentive. They greatly welcome all customers with a beautiful smile and joyfully explained what they have on their daily menus. It is my first time to JB, exploring on my own like Dora the cartoon I stayed at a boutique hotel nearby. Was browsing for food and caught this asam pedas fish shop. Truly a hidden gem. Next to it is a shop sells famous Johor Curry Laksa. Please come and give it a try! Oh ya… they only open for morning session. Close at 2pm.

First try this coffee shop. Been in JB for long time didn’t notice about it. Every dish met my expectations and nice. Super delicious especially the fried fish. Can fit for 4 person portions too. The Otak is home made. Thick and can see the fish inside. Halal restaurants. Will definitely come again and introduce to my friend. Muslim friendly. Order took and wait for 10mins can serve. Well done

Best asam pedas in JB. Otak is flavourful and sotong is fresh. Very reasonable price for its quality and taste. Shop is clean and well-ventilated.
